Melissa Walker-Johnson is the President and Founder of W.O.W. Ministries, LLC. A ministry created to inspire the world through the teaching, preaching, and literary works; books, poems, and curriculum. Her work is multi facet as her gifts and talents are specifically centered in inspiring and influencing the world to worship over worry.
She was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She holds a BA in “Business Management” and was a partner with First Class Financial Corporation for over ten years. Her business career launched her into a new company as President/CEO of WOW Coaching, and WOW Investment & Management Company. These companies are a part of her brand, WOW Ministries LLC. She also earned a Master of Arts in “Practical Theology and Pastoral Counseling” from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio. Johnson is a Professor of Religious Studies and Career Development.

She is the creator of W.O.W. (Worshiping God over Worrying) book, curriculum, devotions, and curriculum. She is the visionary and creative writer behind the mission, the motivation, and the movement of W.O.W. Ministries, LLC.

Co-taught this course which focuses on understanding the elements of the Christian worldview in contrast with the other major worldviews. Students were instructed on how to defend and live out their faith. They learned how to have dialogue with members of other religious groups; including Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and Muslims.
